Peter was born in Iqaluit, Nunavut - previously named Frobisher Bay, Northwest Territories. In 2017, Peter was ticketed as a Red Seal Carpenter and since then he has been working to hone his skills and gain knowledge in other building trades, traveling from coast to coast to coast.  He even spent time near the North Pole in Alert, Nunavut which he would share was one of his most memorable experiences he experienced while learning about his trades.

 Peter is a proud Cedars Alumni, who is dedicated to building a life in recovery for himself and his beautiful daughter. 

 He loves working at Cedars with the people who showed him how to live in a different way and helped build a foundation for the future. His gratitude is shown in the work he does around campus, ensuring the facilities are well maintained and taken care of.  In his words, he cares for the campus the same way Cedars took care of him when he needed it the most.
