Nigerian born and Vancouver Island raised, Mohammed brings a breadth of skills and compassion to his work at Cedars. Mohammed’s varied career began in professional sports including time in both the NFL and CFL. Since leaving the field, Mohammed has gathered a wealth of lived and educational experience in healing from the disease of addiction. As the father of two teenagers, Mohammed understands the importance of familial involvement in the healing process, and is dedicated to building connections with everyone involved in their loved one’s care. From Super Bowl Champion to clinical counsellor, Mohammed joyfully brings his own experience with triumph and transformation to his colleagues and clients at Cedars.
