A lifelong Vancouver Island resident Micheal spent many years in active addiction before finding recovery in December of 2021.  While finding himself Micheal found his true calling of helping others to achieve life-long recovery. After obtaining his Addiction Workers Certificate at the Vancouver College of Counselor Training, Micheal initially started his career as a Community Support Worker at Cedars Supportive Recovery Living. It was a full circle moment, as Micheal himself was an Alumni. Today, you will find Micheal working with Cedars as an Associate Counsellor working hard to grow as a professional in the field he feels most passionate about.
