Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, Krista worked as a Health Care Assistant in long term care facilities before obtaining her Licensed Practical Nurse diploma in 2022. Krista is eager to learn and grow as a nurse with Cedars, her empathetic nature and passion for helping other people during their individual healing journeys is what inspired her to join the team.

When she's not at work, Krista enjoys spending her time with her son and family, dabbling in photography, or being outdoors with her two dogs - likely by a lake or body of water somewhere!
